POST 4: ART

I enjoy when I can go to the museum and I can see some paint view. But I don´t understand the paint language. When I´m in front of a paint, I enjoy thinking in the moment and the emotions with the painter created his artwork.

My favorite painter is Monet.  There some of his paints that makes me feel the moment when he painted it. I can imagine the moment, in the sunrise or in the sunset, he stand with his brushes and he observed the nature, and he put his impressions in the paint. He looking for to capture the light, the color, and to put in his artwork.

Another painter I like is a mexican woman. She is Frida Kahlo. I adore the way she could to transmit her inner world, it´s full of pain, it´s full of passion, with a critical think of the world, of the people, of the woman, of the male chauvinism. The way how Kahlo she paints herself in every paint, with her expression of rage, her big eyes looking for you, makes me to tramble.

In these painters I found two different ways of expressions through the paint. They have the ability, the talent to express their emotions and theirs vission of the reality in his paints.

My best partner, my cell phone!

I´m a “workaholic´s”. I work in four different jobs. I run ell day. I meet with many people in the week. And my cell phone is very important for my work. With It, I can make cell phone calls and I can talk   my clients, my students, my bosses, and with my family.

But my cell phone give much others services. It´s my diary, I can write my tasks, I can register the new phone client´s numbers, I can make a pictures of important messages in the streets, I can make math calculates, I can listen my favorites songs. But, the most important thing I can communicate with my family, specially, with my little daughter.

She learn to write messages and use emoticons and one or twice a day, I find a message and emoticons from her. I love it!

I use my cell phone all day, It’s an extension of my arm or my ear, an it´s an extension of my mind.

I don´t know how I could live without my best partner!

But I know all of these it´s a madness of modern way of life. And my cell phone is part of these.

Post 2. Why I choosed my career

I´m a clinical psychologist. I studied in Universidad de Chile. I´m worked in Universidad de Chile 12 years ago.

I don´t remember if I has a dream jobs when I was a child. I just liked play all day. 

In the college, I liked many subjects. Mathematic, Biology, Social Sciences, Spanish, etc.

My first career was engineering in Valdivia, in the Universidad Austral, but I quit soon. But, when I was been in the university, I could know many students, and many careers. Far from my home, far from my teachers and friends, I could know think different. I could know the social problems in this moment. It was help me to think in social sciences an in psychology like my option.

Then, I quit engineer, and I changed to Santiago. I studied in Universidad de Chile. And actually I´m very happy with my option. 

Post 1: My Autobiography. “I´m a southern guy”

Hi! I´m Marcelo. I´m 46 years old. I was born in 1970. My family is from Chiloé, in the south of Chile. I grew up in Puerto Varas City, a beautiful town, near of Puerto Montt. I studied in Germania College. I have three brothers, two females and one male. When I was a teenager I studied in the morning in college and I played some sports in the afternoon. I sang in the college chorus. In the summer I went to the beach all days with my friends, in the lake Llanquihue. At 16, I was finish the college, and I went to the university. First, I studied engineering in de Universidad Austral in Valdivia city. But quit. Later, I came from Santiago to study Psychology in the Universidad de Chile. Since 1989 I live in Santiago, and I like very much. I´m an urban guy. But, I don´t forget that I´m a southern guy!!
